Bayou Bash 2019
Sunday, April 28 | Noon to 4:00 p.m.
Spirit Day(s)
Students can show their spirit by wearing their Festival T-shirt (with jeans or uniform bottoms) on Spirit Day—Thursday, April 25 (T/Th Pre-Primary and Middle School) and Friday, April 26 (Primary, Lower, and Upper School). Then, of course, students sport their Festival T-shirts on Festival Day!
NEEDED: Volunteers
We REALLY need more volunteers, especially for the late-afternoon shifts. Visit the SignUpGenius website to join the crew. A huge thank-you goes out to all who have already signed up to donate their time.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased the day of Festival from two ticket booths—one at the main entrance to the event (between the OAC and the athletics fields), and the other near the outdoor classroom. A sheet of 40 tickets will run you $20. Cash is preferred. Credit cards will be accepted at the register located in the Fine Arts Center (FAC) near the stage.
Bake Sale
If baking is your talent, your generous donation of goodies can be dropped off on Saturday, April 27, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at the side door of the FAC (across from the Outdoor Classroom) on the Main Campus. You won’t even have to get out of your car—volunteers will be waiting on the curb to grab your sweet treats. We are asking each volunteer to bring two dozen cookies/treats, but we always welcome more! Depending on the size of the dessert, please place two to three treats in each baggie. If you cannot put them in baggies, we suggest packing them in a shirt box so they do not get smashed.

Want to see your child’s or family’s name adorn the driveway of your carpool route? Or maybe your child would enjoy being Head for a Day? Stop by the Big Board at Festival (near the FAC) and bid on some of this year’s offerings:

Festival Is a Family Event
We ask that you not drop off your students at Festival without direct adult supervision by either parents or another responsible adult. We appreciate your assistance in helping us maintain a safe environment in which all can enjoy Festival Day!
Shuttle Transportation From the SOUTH PINEY POINT CAMPUS
Please take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service to simplify parking on Festival day. It’s an easy way to get to and from the big event! The shuttle will be based out of the South Piney Point Campus. Shuttles will operate continuously from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As always, please be respectful of our neighbors and do not park on Piney Point Road—or your car could get towed.
Plan to party rain or shine.
Invite your friends.
Come on out for four hours or 40 minutes.
Laissez les bon temps rouler!
If you have any questions, please contact Abby Clark, director of special events, or either of our Festival chairs: Marjorie Dale and Megan Tipton.
